You won't get world-wearyI am a techie and find myself shifting phones very often. However with the HTC S620, I am never bored. I upgraded the OS to 6.1 and with the support of xda-developers and numerous let go windows mobile and Java software available, this phone has become my buddy. My only sore point is that lack of accessories that are available... Oh well, pattern is evasive...
I absolutely like it....
I've been using mine (an unlocked working model brought back from Europe) primarily on the Cingular/AT&T network. It has roamed with me in China, India, Singapore and Australia with no problems. My m Push Outlook on WM5 works like a champ. Polling POP3 accounts works well. Out of the box my polling void was frequent enough to affect battery life. But, that was easily fixed in the e-despatch setup.
The call rejection problem mentioned by an earlier reviewer was a known controversy on some T-Mobile Dash devices (there's a registry fix). I have not experienced that muddle. I am waiting for the HTC Windows Mobile 6 upgrade (announced but not yet delivered) - principally for a couple of Outlook features and some native MS Office document features. As a phone it works as expected - like an relevance with no quirks.
While on the road, I only pull out my notebook computer when I need to view or organize a MS Office document. The S620 has become my primary voice and data crest. I expect WM6 will do more to keep the notebook in its carrying case.
But for Device
I have adept none of the problems indicated by the previous reviewer. This phone went to Europe with me on my vacation and performed without any flaws. Mobile life is reasonable under normal use. With additional software, music and MPEG videos are abundant. With the 200mhz processor, the device is a bit slow, but still a great performer.
Quirky contrivance
The seal is stylish and compact. It utilizes a version of Windows for mobile devices that does many things Windows does including crashing, running at a loss data, locking up, etc. That is the problem; good functionality but quirky and untrustworthy. My phone will spontaneously reject calls without warning, dial residents on the contact list spontaneously while sitting on my desk, fail to end calls when the "end" handle is pressed causing incurring charges, spontaneously go to mute in the waist of a conversation...

Unfortunately I'm estremly disappointed in the purchase of the HTC S621, on inserting the sim come clean the phone after appprox 5 mins use. turns off/shuts down on it's own accord. Is it on to return the HTC S621 to bechanged for a similiar model or another make?

Flattering CELL PHONE
I do not have much habits with my phone, but my friends who know more than I do about cell phones, I say it's an excellent phone. has camera and the photos are distinctly and beautiful. The Wi-Fi is buenisimo. Wherever I get the signal internet. The only detail I see is that I can not change the language because the window is in English and can not as though changes in that regard.

Not as good as the reviews say...
All the reviews position what a wonderful phone the Dash is, but there are some problems it has.
1. I'm not sure if this is common, but it the white faceplate on mine came off rather easily. I've fixed it with superglue, but still a possible producer problem.
2. The Jogger Bar (a touch sensitive bar on the side of the phone) is nearly camouflaged to those who didn't know it existed in the first place. If you don't leave the phone locked when you take it then it will turn the volume up by itself, call people, answer the phone, etc. This feature can be turned off and that is what I did once I realized how.
3. With the printed matter messaging a slip of fingers can cause the type to turn in to Chinese lettering. This happened to me and I knackered hours trying to figure out how to fix it the first day I got it. For those of you that have friends and family with this phone and this predicament should choose to pop up, all you do is press alt then cap (both in the lower left corner of the keyboard). That changes it back to English or what ever phrasing is set to the device.
That's it for the problems, but there are some really nice features I enjoy.
1. Texting is set up like small talk where you can view previous messages to and from the same person. It really helps after you get in to conversations with 4 or 5 residents at a time.
2. The screen is very easy to see even outside during the day.
3. The back is rubberized and it doesn't slink easily off of dashboards.
These are just a few of the Pros and Cons of the HTC Dash.

ive had it for a month and it works prodigious didnt come with the case so now its all scratched up great battery soul great music player great texting loud enough speakers didnt get to go on the internet much because wifi not as rough as a laptop....
Discouraging
I've had this phone for approx. 1.5 years and have been acquiescent for a new one for the last few months. I use it only for the basics: texting, phone calls & syncing to my View calendar. It freezes up a lot & shuts down on a fully charged battery at least once a day. I can't surmise using this for emails and the web. There isn't a way to delete alarms,if you decide to change the space, it will go off every time you've ever programmed. I had to turn the alarm sound to silent, which means I can't use it at all anymore. It stopped reading my respect card for no reason for months and then one day recognized it again. I have T-mobile and they've been no help, but I supposition you get what you pay for.

Worn the phone for over 2 years, on my 2nd one because of shattered silver screen. It is eximious for phone calls and subject-matter messaging, but the camera does not most often start due to bad remembrance supervision on the phone(even if conclusion out all apps through reprehend overseer). Also, the internet capabilities are not so lofty, and euphonious monotonous even on wifi.
