Pictures and internet occupation on my B3310I bought this phone to make restitution for an older unlocked Seimens model that I use exclusively while traveling in Europe,
buying neighbourhood phone SIM cards as I switch countries. I like the Samsung so much, that I've firm to use it
here in the US as well.
The B3310 I received after ordering off of this page came in 2 days with measure shipping,
fulfilled by J&R Music World.
I was happy to find a Samsung USB matter cable unexpectedly included, along with the phone, battery,
dual-voltage tours charger, user guide, and a cd with Samsung's PC Studio software.
The worldwide charger has a plug made for US sockets, but since it's dual-voltage I can also use it in Europe by just slipping a plug adapter over it.
Since I wanted to try the phone out in the US before taking it to Europe, I went to the neighbourhood pub T-Mobile store and
bought a SIM card for $10. After the clerk activated it, I had $3.34 in dependability on my phone to work with, more
than enough for me to evaluate the phone and the T-Mobile network in my square footage.
After reading about how some owners had problems with sending and receiving pictures via MMS, I asked the
T-Ambulatory clerk to send me a test MMS and my phone failed to show it. He then took the phone, called
T-Unstationary help, and they walked him through setting up both the MMS and the WAP internet functions for me.
Not planning on using the internet as I use prepaid only, but it worked as intended on 2G.
Could I have set up the MMS and internet myself? Maybe, but it would have taken me forever.
Very thankful the clerk was so valuable when I all I did was buy a SIM card and no service.
After installing a 4gb microSDHC card I attempted to hand on some mp3 music files from my laptop to the phone,
and got a Windows message about a driver being needed. Slipped in the cd from the box and got the driver off
of it and tried again, successfully. Once the USB driver is installed, you can honest drag and drop files
into the phone's music folder from your pc.
You do not desperate straits to install the Samsung PC Studio. I did, but had trouble getting it to see the phone even after
choosing to induct the program and the USB driver.
IMPORTANT: I had to turn my phone off while it was connected via USB after reinstalling program
and USB driver and only then did my Vista laptop do homage it and finish installing the USB driver.
This phone will see heavy texting while in Europe and the qwerty keyboard works wonderfully.

A noble choice if you want to a good basic phone that works for global travel and has a qwerty keyboard.
Note: When mine came I plugged it in to instil the battery, but it would not seem to charge. I thought either the battery or the charger were defective. Then I discovered that the mobile was fully charged.
Phone doesn't vocation after 4 days
I ordered 2 of these phones based on the narcotic addict feedback. Hands down, nobody can argue with the phones sleek look and messaging system. Only mind-boggler is.....after 4 days one of the phones does not work any more. I cannot hear or reply calls that come in. Both voice and speaker do not work. I am trying to get in have a bearing on with the provider and hope that they will respond based on this comment.

Sweetie my F3!My partner and I both got these F3 phones, and we love them. They are everything we ever wanted in a phone - voice calls and circumscribed texting with awesome durability and battery life.
Note that we did NOT buy these phones from Amazon - we found them cheaper elsewhere ($15 each advantage shipping), so we did not have any of the issues many have reported in the 1-star reviews. Make unflinching you buy from a reputable source.
The phone has lots of quirky limitations, and you have to be imaginative to use an address book that can only display six text characters at a time, first of all if you are using a SIM card from a more advanced phone.
My only complaint is that I couldn't shape out a way to edit existing address book entries. The only thing you can do is cancel an entry and create a new one, which is a pain if you want to edit lots of contacts. I had to shorten them on my old phone to be six-character-friendly, then move the SIM card to my F3. This is the only reason I didn't give the phone 5 stars.
All-embracing I'm just so delighted to have the cheapest and simplest new phone possible. I'm not paying for a camera, mp3 entertainer, web browser, fancy screen, or video player, and I plan to give away the "free" phones we got from T-Mobile to someone who actually wants those features.
Fundamental phone, looks good, not for txt'ing
I like the slim rate and shape of this phone and it has been durable. It works well as a phone (sound excellence, battery life). However, it has a very limited interface and some annoying aspects, such as beeping when you unintentionally press it against things, which happens all the time. There appears to be no setting to meander off that feature or to lock the keypad. It does not store the number of missed calls reliably or intuitively. It's interface is otherwise harmonious intuitive, but also very limited. Can't beat it for this price if you need an unlocked GSM phone.
Unmatched for those who just want a basic, no-frills cell phone.
I'm over 50, industry hard for an honest living, drive a Jeep Wrangler and I make merry the few remaining tools in life that simply WORK. The Motorola F3 is one of them. Like a Jeep, this phone is classic, basic and built to last forever. The dual-antennas really separate in weak signals, the call volume is crisp, clear and HUGE, the speakerphone de facto stands out as useful, clear and loud as hell. It's small enough to tuck into a sack or in a horizontal belt case as I have, to keep it out of the way when I'm working.
The beauty of this tool is that it's plain, cheap and useful. It makes phone calls, and that's it. No muzac, pictures, internet, texting, pictures and all the other assorted crap that kids like these existence. It makes phone calls, period. If you want a toy, buy something else.
Very few people regard highly simple, useful tools like this anymore. Forget about impressing anyone with this precisely communication tool. I leave it on 24/7 and plug it in every few days. Slews of battery power, but I do carry a charger in the work truck upright in case. I do recommend a slim horizonal case to keep it out of the way. The alarm clock works artistic and will get you up before the rooster. Ringtones are useful and basic, just the way I like it. I have 3 new F3's in the stall. These were discontinued in 2006. Get one while you still can.
Subtle replacement/transition/back-up phone
Honest what was needed when I lost a phone. It is easy to set up if you have a little time. But not so unhurried for the less technically inclined. It's a little cluncky and not intuitive for those that want everything to trade exactly like the phone they were used to. But for the price, a good phone to have in the drawer and broadcast the kids not to loose their phone or they'll have to use this one.

wonderful cell phone for those who don't want to get another 2 years on their contractok, i purchased this razor for my helpmate after i received my own razor, just in a different color. she loves it!! it is relaxed to set up and use! it seems pretty durable since, as i said it's my wife's, and she's hell on phones!! i herself dropped my own in water and after drying it out overnight, it still works great! i would suggest a razor cell phone for those people who don't really use all of the other bells and whistles the newer phones come across with! my mother in law went to the cell phone store to get a new phone, and she is in WAY over her aim b/c they no longer offer 'easy' cell phones when you upgrade or go your contract. this one has a camera, which i use almost daily, web and blue tooth and texting abilities, so those of you between the ages of 35-135 years old, this phone would be for you!! i surely recommend

This phone gets the job done
I attraction my pink razr. Its not going to have all the bells and whistles of a blackberry but it gets the job done. What i like the most is how dependable it is. I have dropped this phone many times and it keeps on going.
Wonderful
I like the raZR phones by Motorola because of their slimy design. This phone works well but I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because 1. the characterization said satin pink color the phone is hot pink (luckily it matched up with my preferred tank top) and 2. There is not much to do on it, no calculator or calender - it's sorta boring. BUT I relish it! I love it! for its design.

A small dated technology, but perfect for me
Here is my location... in addition to the basic communication functions, I expect my phone to keep my chronicle, in sync with my MS Outlook (which also syncs with Google Calendar). The Blackjack does that effortlessly!
I instance became so frustrated with my Samsung Solstice a887 Phone (AT&T) that I resolved to pay out the bucks to get an unlocked phone a full year and a half before my contract was to expire. My prevalent complaint with the Solstice was the calendar, it's bad enough that it doesn't sync directly with Attitude (it has its own proprietary calendar/contacts software that does that) but the real enigma is that the file record limitations for the Solstice mean that you'll retain scant more than the name of the appointment, the phone number or address and little else.
The Blackjack has none of those limitations, which means that I can put an express travel itinerary in an appointment file and easily retrieve light out numbers and references without the fear of the text ending early.
I like the keyboard, it's grand for texting. And using Activsync, all I have to do is plug my phone into a USB port and the chronicle is updated within minutes.
Technologically speaking, this is probably a couple years behind the curve. I wouldn't mention this to heavy mobile internet users, but for the occaisional email retrieval or send it's okay. What's important is that you have a good idea as to what functions you'll actually use and/or need. Why splash out more for bells and whistles that hold little or no appeal to you?
This is not what it seems...AT&T phone.
I position this phone for a Tmobile account, because on the internet , it said works with Tmobile or At&t, but the trusty part is, It only works for AT&T. It is a nice fashionable , light weight phone, but no use because i couldnt initiate it. Amazon, was excellent in understanding and issued a complete refund, prepaid peg to return. I liked there immediate attention in the matter, to make me have a hunch as a valued customer. I will most definately share my experience with co-worker-friends & family. I was advised to buy here from a co-working man, and she was right, the prompt service and expertise is excellent. This is only for AMAZON.com, the other suppliers they have, that is a amount to different story.
lots of phone for under $100 bucks
The phone is a boost for the price, i have no problem with the phone, only thing is
when someone buys a NEW phone, you imagine everything in that box to be new. in my case everything was new but the charger, the end lokked like someones chewing toy. other than that am beyond reparation.
Disagreeable Service
I regularity this phone in May. It was broken the day after I got it. So I send it back to exchange for a new one. Its July now, and I have yet to get my phone. Also when I send email to them a a handful of times, their replies are the same. It looks like just some bot replying the emails with the severe same message. So, DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

Not to my expectations
I bought this phone from Amazon with some expectations. But amazon disillusioned me again. This is my second buy of a mobile from amazon and its proven to be wrong. I have decided not to buy mobiles above all from amazon. The ear piece did not work properly. Initialy i thought the calls are getting dropped and its a quandary with the service provider, but then i realized that its not the network. Its the phone!!. Finaly i got to a significance where i had to speak through the headset, or the speaker turned on. I have now returned this product to amazon.
